Terms of service
1. General Terms and Conditions
Salming Sports AB complies with the Swedish Consumer Sales Act and the Swedish Act on Distance Contracts and Contracts Outside Business Premises.
To place an order, the customer must be of legal age, 18 years or older, or have the consent of a legal guardian. Orders can only be placed by customers with a physical address in one of the countries to which Salming delivers. Salming does not deliver to Guadeloupe, Martinique, Réunion, New Caledonia, French Polynesia, Wallis and Futuna, Mayotte, Saint-Martin, Saint Barthélémy, Saint-Pierre and Miquelon, French Southern and Antarctic Lands, Madeira, Azores, Canary Islands, Ceuta, Melilla or mail forwarding companies.
Salming Sports AB reserves the right to restrict deliveries to certain areas during certain periods, for example due to adverse weather conditions or other circumstances that may affect delivery.
A customer refers to a natural person.
2. Placing an Order
Orders for Salming Sports AB products are placed via salming.com. Received orders are confirmed by a written order confirmation sent by e-mail.
An order is considered binding for Salming Sports AB only once the order confirmation has been sent to the customer.
Salming Sports AB reserves the right to deny a purchase. All orders are considered binding. If you have placed an order by mistake, you must contact us immediately.
If an ordered item is out of stock, the product will be removed from your order. We will refund the amount relating to the removed item or amend the invoice.
3. Prices
All prices are stated in EUR and include the applicable VAT for the destination country. Salming Sports AB reserves the right to make changes due to VAT changes or other price adjustments beyond our control.
A shipping fee of EUR 7.50 will be applied to purchases under EUR 120.
4. Payment
Payment is processed securely via Shopify Payments. We accept the following payment methods:
- Credit and debit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Maestro
- Digital wallets: Shop Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay
- Klarna, available in selected countries
- Local payment methods, which vary by country and are displayed at checkout
When an order is placed, the total amount is reserved on your payment method. The amount is charged when your order has been dispatched.
All payments are PCI-DSS certified. No card details are stored by Salming Sports AB. Klarna’s own terms and conditions apply to payments made via Klarna and are available at klarna.com.
5. Delivery Times
The full list of delivery times can be viewed in our Shipping Policy. Delivery times are subject to delays. Salming Sports AB cannot be held liable for the delivery of items that are out of stock or have been discontinued. Shipping fees are always shown at checkout.
Incorrect or incomplete address information
Orders that have to be returned to us due to incorrect or incomplete address information provided by the customer will be charged a fee, currently EUR 25. The fee is charged afterwards.
6. Delivery Delays
If a delivery delay occurs, we will contact you to inform you. We will do everything we can to ensure that your order is delivered as soon as possible. As a customer, you have the right to cancel your purchase in the event of a considerable delay.
Situations may arise that make it impossible for us to fulfil an order, for example if our suppliers are unable to fulfil their obligations to us. Salming Sports AB reserves the right to cancel an order in such situations and refund the customer.
7. Shipping
Shipping costs EUR 7.50. Free shipping applies to purchases over EUR 120.
Orders are sent with PostNord, DHL, DPD or UPS depending on the destination country.
8. Cooling-off Period / Right of Withdrawal
We want all customers to be satisfied with their purchase. If you experience any problems with your product or are not completely satisfied, please contact us at webstore@salming.com.
In addition to your statutory right of withdrawal, Salming Sports AB offers a 60-day return period from the day you receive the product.
For most orders, a prepaid return shipping label is included in the parcel to make returns simple. Orders that only contain underwear bottoms and/or socks may be shipped without a return label.
You can exercise your right of withdrawal by using the included return shipping label, by logging in through My orders & returns on salming.com and requesting a return for the relevant order, or by contacting us at webstore@salming.com. You can also use the model withdrawal form below. We will send a confirmation when we have received your withdrawal request.
If no return shipping label was included, or if you need a new one, log in through My orders & returns, select the relevant order and register a return. We will then send you a new return label. You can also contact us at webstore@salming.com and we will help you.
Once you have notified us that you wish to withdraw from your purchase or return a product, the product must be sent back without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day you notified us.

Condition of returned products
Products must be returned in their original condition and in their original packaging. Shoe boxes must be placed in a plastic bag or packed into an additional box. Do not write directly on the shoe box or product packaging. If the shoe box is damaged, we will deduct 5 EUR from the refund.
If the quality of the product is affected because you have handled it more than necessary to inspect its characteristics, function or fit, we may make a deduction for the reduced value of the product.
Hygiene products
Underwear bottoms and socks are hygiene products. Returns can only be accepted if the product is unused and the packaging seal is unbroken.
The customer is responsible for the return shipping cost. For most orders, a prepaid return shipping label is included in the parcel and the return cost is deducted from the refund. The return cost is stated in our Refund Policy. Cash on Delivery returns will not be accepted.
We will reimburse you as soon as we have received the returned product or you have provided proof that the product has been sent back. Pursuant to Swedish law, reimbursement must be made within 14 days, but our goal is to handle refunds as quickly as possible.
9. Consumer Complaints / Claims
Salming Sports AB complies with the Swedish Consumer Sales Act with respect to claims. If you have received an incorrect or defective product, please send an e-mail to webstore@salming.com with your order number, a description of the issue and pictures showing the defect. This will help us handle the claim as quickly as possible.
If you purchased your product from one of our retailers, you should contact that retailer directly, as your purchase agreement is with them.
Remember to never accept a package with visible damage or defects that may affect the condition of the item ordered. In such a case, register a claim directly with the delivery provider at the pickup point and request that the package is returned to Salming Webstore with a written reason for the return. Then send an e-mail to webstore@salming.com to inform us of the claim.
10. Disputes
If a dispute cannot be resolved directly with our customer service team, you may contact the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes, ARN. Salming Sports AB follows the recommendations of ARN.
Consumers within the European Union can also find information about alternative dispute resolution bodies through the European Commission’s Consumer Redress Portal.
11. Unclaimed Packages
If you do not collect your package, you must pay the cost of shipping and any return freight charges. Unclaimed packages will be charged a fee, currently EUR 25. The fee is charged afterwards. If payment is not received, the claim may be forwarded to a debt collection service.
12. Security
We handle customer information securely and only share information when necessary to process orders, payments, deliveries, returns, claims or customer service matters.
13. Reservation
Salming Sports AB reserves the right not to be bound by errors or inaccuracies on the website, including errors in product information, availability, prices or other website content.
14. Personal Data
Salming Sports AB is the data controller for the personal data you provide when placing an order with us.
We process personal data in order to handle orders, payments, deliveries, returns, claims, customer service and, where applicable, marketing. The personal data may be shared with payment providers, logistics partners, IT service providers and other partners when necessary to fulfil our obligations to you.
You have the right to request access to the personal data we process about you. You may also request correction, deletion or restriction of your personal data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.
